Happy Thanksgiving!

11/23/11 - I noticed that some of my posts seem to have gone missing recently.  So I hope that everyone sees this one.

We will be closed Thursday, November 24, for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We wish all of our very valued customers a wonderful Thanksgiving with families and friends to begin the happiest of holiday seasons!

Kinetic Koffee named Official Coffee of Interbike

08/26/11 - Kinetic Koffee is proud to announce that we are the Official Coffee of the Interbike International Bicycle Expo, one of the largest industry events in the world.  The show takes place in Las Vegas, NV, September 12 through the 16th and attracts bicycle and outdoor companies from around the world, along with dealers, media and athletes.  Over 30,000 people are expected to attend the 2-day Outdoor Demo in Boulder City and the show itself at the Sands Convention Center.  Kinetic Koffee has been part of the event sinc

07/01/11 - We want to wish all our US friends a happy Independence Day on Monday.  Kinetic Koffee will be closed to celebrate the holiday with family and friends, but we'll be back in the roastery bright and early on Tuesday the 5th.

Coffee of the Month

06/20/11 -  This month’s Special Roast is from the country with the second largest coffee crop in the world and probably the most famous spokesperson, Colombia.  I enjoy Colombian coffees in the summer because they tend to have a lighter body, perfect for those warmer mornings.  This month’s coffee is from the Finca Tolima, located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the highest tropical coast mountain range in the world.

Memorial Day Weekend

05/26/11 - Kinetic Koffee World HQ will be closed Monday, May 30 in honor of Memorial Day.  Of course, both Charlie and I will be at the Kinetic Grand Championship starting Saturday at noon at the Arcata Plaza.  We hope to see many of you out there.  Charlie and I will not be racing this year, but we will both be acting as Judges.

05/11/11 - I received new today that we were named one of the most Outdoor-friendly coffee roasters in the country by Adventure Journal Magazine!  They listed seventeen roasters from around the country who help the outdoor community while roasting excellent coffee.  Here's a quote about Kinetic Koffee:

"They donate a whopping 10 percent of their net profits to charities, which is reason enough to buy from these guys, but they also roast kick-ass coffee in Arcata, California, and ship nationally."

Sea Otter Classic Report

04/24/11 - I had a great time at the Sea Otter Classic at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway last weekend.  Joel and I were on the road from Tuesday afternoon until about 1am Monday morning.  The event went off without a hitch, the weather cooperated wonderfully, and it was so awesome to see so many of our regulars at the event, who took the time to stop in and say Hi.

Sea Otter Classic

4/11/11 - We will be closed Tuesday the 12th through Sunday the 17th to exhibit at the Sea Otter Classic for the sixth year running.  It's one of the largest cycling events in the country and we are proud to be a part of it.  We'll have all of our roasts available for sale, along with mugs, t-shirts, jerseys, socks and AeroPresses.  We will donate 10% of the proceeds to Japan's earthquake and tsunami relief.
