I saw the headlines in BRAIN for Kinetic Koffee @ QBP. Very cool to
see
the hype! Glad to hear that things are going well. You would be glad
to know that I recently made the switch to drinking your coffee
everyday.
Here is a little feedback based on my personal experience.
Over the past couple years I would buy your stuff once in a while,
mostly to support you and your local business. I would send away to
friends and family along with other local goods, like Larrupin sauce, as
a novelty product.
But I prefer to buy my daily brew in bulk. I know it seems weired
that
I would let packaging (or the lack of) be a major factor in my buying
decision of the coffee I drink, but it does makes a difference. Over
the past 10 years I have been happy with the Coop for offering my
favorite Thanksgiving Aztec French in bulk and it only helps that it has
been "on sale" for what seems like the last couple years.
However, when I recently saw that you started offering your coffee in
bulk, it offered me a chance to reconsider. At first, I hesitated,
because I prefer the dark, rich, oily look of the Aztec French, yet it
is still strong and good flavor. Your only bulk option, Morning Mayhem,
seemed light and I was concerned that it would not have the same deep
strong flavor that I am used to.
Luckily your Kinetic ambassador was not far away to help guide me to
the
light. Yes, Joel happened to be cruising through and persuaded me to
give it a try, since it was the roast of choice by the Kinetic crew. So
I did, and was very happy with the brewed result. It is rich and very
smooth...and I like it even better than my 10 year favorite!
I have been back every week to replenish my supply and couldn't be
happier. Add me to your list of loyal customers, now that you have gone
bulk.
